At OLAND we care about people, that is why we collaborate with the Juan XXIII Roncalli Foundation. This non-profit association has been working for more than 50 years for the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
Among the many solidarity projects that this foundation carries out, they have an organic agriculture workshop. In it, students learn the procedures necessary to grow fruit and vegetables in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way in an orchard of more than 2 hectares.
At OLAND we want to contribute to the development and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through projects like this one that also raise awareness about the importance of organic farming. For this reason, the foundation provides us with the organic fruit that we use for promotional activities, in addition to the baskets and the handling of them.
